After three decades of providing our innovative call compensation solutions nationwide, EA expanded to offer revenue cycle management services to emergency medicine physicians, multi-specialty medical groups, private practice physicians, and telemedicine physicians. Our offerings now include a comprehensive array of provider compensation and reimbursement solutions complemented by our advanced health information technology.

Arthur L. Gruen, MD
Chief Executive Officer
As founder of EA Health, Arthur L. Gruen, MD is dedicated to providing specialty physician call coverage solutions to hospitals, providers, and their patients. Dr. Gruen is a graduate of Harvard University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his clinical training in emergency medicine at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.

Ahmad Ehrary is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in healthcare client services. He joined EA Health in 2014, and has steadily climbed the ranks, showcasing his expertise in various roles such as Client Services Coordinator, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Manager of Business Intelligence. Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UC San Diego, and is Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified.

Esther Johnson joined EA Health in 2014 as the Director of Revenue Cycle Services. Ms. Johnson has 27 years’ experience in revenue cycle management, and over 20-years of healthcare leadership experience. Esther holds a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.

Michelle Russo
Controller
Michelle joined the EA Health team in 2012 as a staff accountant. She became the lead staff accountant after her first year with EA Health, was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2015, and then Controller in 2016. She now leads EA Health’s Finance Department, and is responsible for the company’s cash management, and monthly financial reporting, as well as the oversight of a team of staff accountants. Michelle attended the School of Business Administration at San Diego State University, where she earned her B.S. in Accounting in 2008.

Timothy Flavia has an extensive background in Finance, Business Operations and Management, and over 20 years as an Information Technology professional. He joined the EA Health team in 2016, and has steadily leveraged leading edge technologies and best-practices to expand, and improve EA Health’s capabilities and service offerings. He holds Information Technology certifications in Engineering and Security.

With over 30 years of experience in software development, and project management, Ken leads an outstanding team which prides itself on responsiveness, and providing outstanding, and efficient tools to help physicians, and hospitals concentrate on doing their life saving work. Our team focuses on producing high quality software tools to optimize reimbursement, and make sure physicians are fairly compensated for their critical work.
